DIET IS MOST IMPORTANT

I know we've all heard before that "diet is 70% and exercise is only 30%". Or how about..."abs are made in the kitchen". Well both statements are true. You need to focus on a balanced healthy diet which has variety so you stay on track!!



Making sure you eat the correct amount of meals daily...the correct portions for each meal and at the right time are also key factors that play a part in maintaining a healthy diet.


Eating green vegetables are so important that you should be having two different kinds of green vegetables with lunch and dinner meals. You can also include them as snacks. Some benefits of green vegetables are:

*High in antioxidants
*Full of minerals
*A natural source of fiber
*Improves metabolism
*Makes you satisfied longer (stay feeling fuller longer)
*Protects your eyes
*Improves your mood
*Keeps you hydrated

The above picture is me...Marilyn St. Hill...The Original MsFitandFab...pregnant (on the left) and 15 months after my delivery (on the right) competing in my very first bodybuilding show (in 2005).  

I competed in the fitness model category. 

My first show was sooo big. There were over 200 competitiors in my category and I came 49th...ill never forget. I thought "top 50 in out of 200 beautiful fit ladies".  That's when my bodybuilding career began.  I was inspired.

Its a NEW YEAR...2018...set a goal...work hard and achieve it!

Diet and Training Seminar is a SUCCESS!!



TEAM SUCCESS Personal Training kicked off the new year with an informative and healthy Diet and Training seminar.

The seminar touched on but was not limited to:

RawFood
Paleo
Fodmap
Holistic
Vegan




Discussion on the training and supplements. As well... healthy snacks and beverages were served.

Every participant left with goodie bags and tshirts. As well... a BIG THANKS goes out to Popeye's Supplements...Good Health Mart and Nutrition Asylum Upper James for donating fantastic supplement gift baskets which 3 lucky winners took home.

I can't wait until the next one. It will be bigger and better!!

I DID IT!!!


After not stepping on stage for over 2 years...I returned to the bodybuilding stage in the IDFA World Championship and Pro Universe.

I placed 3rd in the Novice Figure category.:)
